Standard SOAR program category A offers:

  • Physical activity
  • Homework help
  • Educational game time
  • Character building
  • Option of enrichment clubs (such as Foreign language and Arts and crafts)
  • There is an additional $3 per class per week fee for enrichment classes in category B                                                        Karate, Piano & Zumba are considered category B


The Cost of SOAR

The regular cost of Standard SOAR program per quarter is $160

If 30 students are pre-registered, the price will go lower.

$30 deposit required.

Not all parents are able to pick up their children right after school and help them with homework. That is why we encourage other parents, who have children in the school who know or are willing to learn the curriculum to come alongside fellow parents within the school community as homework helpers for the children.

Notice of Intent to Submit an Application for 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (After School Programs)


In accordance with the application instructions from the California Dept. of Education, the San Diego County Office of Education submits a public notice to the community of  National City of San Diego County Office of Education’s intent to submit an application for a 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Programs grant for public schools to be served in the aforementioned areas.
